Excellent food. I am not a very big eater, but the El Loco, with steak, shrimp, and chicken was so good, I ate it for 3 nights in a row. Of course, my 16 year old son ate all of his in 10 minutes. Highly recommend, by all....

Enchilada Supreme with Queso Cheese sauce was delicious. It was one beef, bean, cheese, and chicken. It filled me. The only regret was the sweetened tea. It had a poor back flavor; almost like it was stale without enough sweetener too cover that undesirable beverage. Next time we'll just get a different beverages. My wife and I thought Dinner more than made up for the substandard drink. Thank You for a genuine Mexican food.

It was alright its been 5 years since we ate here and we was a little disappointed we set for 15 mins with no drinks. But then the waiter noticed finally then it was okay aftwr that affordable and good food.

Great Food for the price

First time here and its just horrible. Chesse dip is cold the staff wacthed as my child spilled a drink and then walkes off as i lookes over to tell then I needed more napkins. Food is just thrown on a plate its messy as hell the cheeseebuger has cheese all over the place and a family member is allergic. Fries were almost burnt. Salsa tastes like a tomato and beans are plain like no flavor to either. Every time we needed something no staff was around. Will never go again

Best authentic food in the Lamar area. If you're in town and want to have a great sit down experience, you won't be sorry you chose El Charco!

Locals love it. Reasonably priced..big selection. Not highly seasoned or spicy..so don't expect Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex. Good food though. Limited seafood.
